Entry period	Until June 11th
Requirements to join	Students whose major is in IT field and expected graduate from university in 2024.
Contents	1. Develop a deep learning framework (9 days) Students will learn the concept of deep learning through developing a framework from scratch. Required: Python 2. Develop apps by means of a Japanese IT company (15 days) Students will learn how to work in Japanese company's development style. Required: Web programming (Javascript, HTML, CSS), Japanese(N3) 3. Lateral thinking (workshop / only 1-2 hours) Students will learn how to generate ideas as they are not obsessed with stereotype. 4. Japanese (Optional / 1hour x 24 days) Students will learn Japanese business manner, conversation. All the lecturers are Japanese but a couple of Vietnamese engineers will assist you.
Communication Language	Mostly English at the development class. Japanese in the Japanese class.
Form of the lectures	Our company will provide the interns with a laptop installed Microsoft Teams. The intern will be given the lectures at our office. Some lecturers will give the lecture from the office in Japan through a video chat on the Teams. The intern is required to bring their earphone to listen to it.
Things to bring	- earphone - lunch (meal, money) - drink
Support	The intern will receive 2,000,000 VND as livelihood support. (When you attend to the full classes)

With the new corona virus situation, our company accepted twelve students from University of Information Technology in Vietnam for eight weeks online internship. We provided them with the following program.
1. Work flow in the Japanese company style.
2. Learn deep learning from scratch.
3. Japanese business manner, daily conversation.
All the students did their best. Some students archieved the outstanding result in the deep learning program. Some were good at speaking Japanese. Most of the students seem to have had tough time on the business development followed the Japanese work flow. We believe that the students learned new things for future use. We, lecturers also enjoyed sharing time with the students. We hope that all the students will make the world better by IT.

We were able to hold an internship online this summer. We invited ten students from UIT in Vietnam. We provided them with the following material.
1. Work flow in the Japanese company style.
2. Learn deep learning from scratch.
3. Japanese business manner, daily conversation.
All the students were smarter than we expected. They were all diligence, polite and fast learners. Furthermore, we were impressed their enthusiasm of learning new things. We, lecturers also enjoyed sharing time with the students. We hope that all the students will become advanced IT engineers and help our world amazing.

We had an internship for ten days in August. We had an internship for ten days in August. Four students and a teacher from UIT in Vietnam joined it. The purposes of the internship were to learn how to design system, develop system and to experience Japanese culture. The students learned to develop system using Raspberry Pi which is used for IoT. They were not familiar with it but they managed to complete the all practices that MEC had prepared because they made a great effort to understand. All the students were intelligent and polite. When we first met up with each other they looked nervous. As the time went by they became relax and started smiling.

Besides that, they had unique experiences in Japan such as enjoying sightseeing, eating Japanese food, having a Japanese traditional tea ceremony.

The students learned;
- the procedure to develop a web system based on our real process
- how to design system
- how to program in HTML, Javascript, CSS, Python, Linux
- how to use Raspbery Pi
- how to test a system

The students enjoyed;
- sightseeing in Nara, Ise Grand Shrine, Matsusaka City
- Japanese traditional tea ceremony
- eating Japanese food such as sushi, yakitori(grilled chicken), okonomiyaki, takoyaki, udon, soba, unagi, etc

MEC provided the students and the teacher with;
- round trip flight tickets
- accommodation
- meals(morning, lunch, dinner)
- transportation fee
